Etaluma at the Society for Neuroscience (SfN) Meeting in San Diego
October 22, 2010 – (Carlsbad, CA) Etaluma, Inc. will present a poster (25.23/00039) showing results using Etaluma’s LumaScope at the upcoming 40th Society for Neuroscience (SfN) Annual Meeting in San Diego, CA. Authors of the poster from Etaluma will be present at the poster from 3-4 pm Saturday November 13th and the poster will remain on display for viewing through 5 pm Sunday November 14th. The results using the LumaScope are being presented in the Theme H poster session to highlight the extensive potential of the LumaScope as a laboratory tool in the education arena. Etaluma has been developing the LumaScope with teaching labs in mind: it is an inexpensive, compact, sturdy, laboratory-grade inverted fluorescence microscope, designed with a focus on dramatically increased ease-of-use and immediate accessibility. The quality and variety of images resulting from pilot experiments and demonstrations of the LumaScope with varied preparations will be presented. Further discussion about possible applications, features, and options is welcomed from all interested parties.
