Etaluma represented at 2010 ALA Meeting

Etaluma, Inc. will be represented at the annual meeting of the Association for Laboratory Automation in Palm Springs, CA, January 24-27, 2010

January 20th, 2010 – (Carlsbad, CA) Chris Shumate, Etaluma Co-Founder and CEO, will introduce Etaluma’s LumaScope™, an inexpensive, personal inverted fluorescence microscope, to be available for sale early this year. Shumate will be presenting at the Key Education Track 5 (Evolving Applications of Laboratory Automation) Emerging Technologies, Tuesday morning, January 26, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the Sierra/Ventura rooms at the Renaissance Palms Springs Hotel.

Brian Rasnow, Etaluma Co-Founder and Chief Scientist, will be presenting the latest developments with FlashFluor™ and FlashFluorHTS™ cell-based drug screening systems at the Late Night with LRIG: Rapid-Fire Innovation Session at the Wyndham Hotel Palm Springs, Mojave Learning Center, Monday evening between 7:00-9:00 p.m. January 25, 2010. Etaluma, Inc. recently acquired Amgen, Inc.’s intellectual property and know-how relating to their FlashFluor™ technology. Etaluma is now offering the FlashFluor™ and FlashFluorHTS™ for sale commercially after being developed for exclusive internal use for 10 years.
