FlashFluor™ to be Presented by Amgen, Inc. and Etaluma, Inc. at SBS 2010 in Phoenix, Arizona April 15, 2010
April 6, 2010 – (Carlsbad, CA) Etaluma, Inc. will be attending the Society for Biomolecular Sciences (SBS) Annual Conference April 11-15, 2010, in Phoenix, Arizona, USA. On Thursday, April 15th at 9 am, Chuck Li of Amgen, Inc. will give a Podium Presentation of Etaluma’s FlashFluor™, describing the recent developments with this high-throughput multimodal dispense and image automated screening platform. Brian Rasnow of Etaluma, Inc. and Han Xu, Judy Wang, and Weiya Wang of Amgen, Inc. are also involved in developing this presentation. As part of the session “Assays & Automation: Implementation, Integration, & Assessment of HTS Technologies”, the rational in the internal development of FlashFluor™ technology and implementation will be discussed. In addition to the foundation provided by the highly sensitive CCD camera and multi-channel pipettor, versatile excitation optics and aperture control extend FlashFluor™ capabilities and enable several unique multiplex assays, which will be described.
